Supporting such a significant event for the third consecutive year, our team from Portugal, traveled to Barcelona and demonstrated unparalleled professionalism and commitment. Here's a deeper dive into our experience at the ESCMID Global Congress 2024, where we managed an 80 English speaking hostess team under the fresh banner of ESCMID Global.

The Challenge of Scaling Up: Every year brings new challenges, and 2024 was no exception. Transitioning from ECCMID to ESCMID Global, the congress not only changed its name but also expanded its scope, welcoming over 12,000 participants from across the globe. The logistical challenge of moving and managing a large hostess team abroad was formidable and it wouldn't be possible without our clients organization. Thanks to meticulous planning and coordination, we were able to ensure flawless execution with 80 professional hostesses.

How We Did It: Under the guidance of ESCMID’s strict guidelines, we deployed 80 highly trained hostesses and three coordinators to oversee various facets of the congress, including registration, session management, and information dissemination. Our founder, Sara Correia, reflects on the effort: "Managing such a significant team abroad was a remarkable challenge. Our ability to execute this flawlessly for the second time (Outside Portugal) is a testament to our team's dedication and deep commitment to client satisfaction." 

Technological Integration: This year, we also introduced an AI-supported system for managing poster locations, significantly enhancing the on-site engagement and ensuring that participants had a seamless experience navigating the congress.
